WIDEN advised on the sale of SteamDB, one of the world’s leading database platforms tracking extensive data, statistics, and public information across the entire catalog of games and applications on Valve’s Steam platform.
As a result of the transaction, SteamDB joined Chosen, which also owns Nexus Mods, bringing together two major community-driven platforms. Nexus Mods is one of the world’s largest PC gaming modding platforms, serving millions of users.
The acquisition provides SteamDB with greater resources, development capacity and long-term operational stability, enabling it to continue scaling and improving.
The WIDEN team was led by attorney-at-law Martin Alamets, supported by partners Rauno Kinkar and Kristi Sild, as well as attorney-at-law Dan-Erik Roosve.
